Let’s collaborate!

Ways we can work together….

Buenezas designs nature centered education experiences that blend ecology, art, and community learning. We like to have fun while honoring the world of art, crafts and plant wisdom.   Our work spans programs, curriculum development, workshops, and site specific experiences, adapting to different ages, settings, and communities.

We also collaborate with naturalists, artists, educators, and community partners to create experiences that are responsive, place aware, and grounded in shared learning. Programs are fully adaptable for English and Spanish speaking participants.

Outdoor Education Programs

Buenezas develops outdoor and nature-based education programs that support curiosity, ecological awareness, creative exploration, and wellbeing.

We work with schools, libraries, cultural institutions, community organizations, and homeschool pods, and adapt each program to different environments including parks, schoolyards, classrooms, and shared community spaces.

In addition to educational settings, we also create experiences for private gatherings, celebrations, and corporate groups interested in team building, wellbeing and connection. These experiences bring together art making, time in nature, and collective reflection as ways to build relationships and slow down together.

Each program is shaped by the place, the people, and the intention behind the gathering, and often grows through collaboration with naturalists, artists, and educators.

Curriculum & Program Design

We create custom curriculum and program frameworks that integrate environmental learning, art practice, and experiential education. This includes 1 time event or workshop, short term curricula, multi session programs, and long term learning pathways.

Our design process begins with listening. We work closely with partners to understand their goals, audience, and context, then develop content that is accessible, engaging, and adaptable across different learning environments.

Site Specific Experiences for Events and Gatherings

We design site specific experiences for public events, in person or online gatherings, and celebrations that are shaped by the space, and the intention of the moment. These experiences may include guided activities, creative installations, participatory art, or facilitated moments of reflection and connection.

Each experience is created in response to the site and audience, and often involves collaboration with fellow artists, naturalists, and cultural workers. We bring the plants to you even if we work indoors!
